Description

All information entered here is in draft form.  Everything is subject to change based on the needs of the game, characters, and feedback from game testers.

Storyline (updated 6/5/26):

Have you ever skied through the middle of town in a tutu? Ran a marathon dressed like a Viking? Looked at fresh snow and think, “That seems like perfect biking weather”? Burnt an effigy to cleanse your town?

If you answered yes to any of these, you’ve likely heard of Crested Butte, Colorado. If yes to two, you’ve probably visited. Three and you’re probably local.

CB is a quirky small town that invites outdoor enthusiasts, creatives, and anyone else who wanders in wearing the right shoes (or the wrong shoes with confidence) to join in community traditions that stray merrily from everyday life. Around here you make memories, possibly while wearing antlers.

In 2014, Anheuser-Busch capitalized on that “up-for-whatever” spirit. They took over Main Street, renamed the town “Whatever, USA” for the weekend, brought in major entertainment acts and threw an epic weekend kegger. Some CB-ers loved it. Some hated it. Either way, it made an impact.

Now the rumor mill says Anheuser-Busch wants to come back for a Whatever Redux. Nobody has confirmed it, but the mayor and the newspaper editor practically came to blows in front of Rumors Coffee and Tea House, so subtlety may not be the town’s strong suit.

Opinions are loud, emotions are louder, and the town has demanded a town hall meeting. Is AB coming back? Does CB get a say? Just give us the truth!

If the newspaper editor isn’t going to tell you what the truth is, it’s up to the townsfolk at the party to voice their opinion and make sure its upheld. Now’s your chance to speak up, speak loud, and make sure you do what is best for the entire town.
